Ryan Nyquist and Sol Driven Train among Pro Athletes, Nationally Touring Bands, Internationally Acclaimed Films, and Viral Creators Headed to Roanoke
The 2025 Anthem GO Outside Festival (GO Fest) will be packed with talent from legendary BMX riders like Ryan Nyquist to the fun-loving musicians like Sol Driven Train. Attendees can watch world-class athletes, viral creators, and powerhouse musicians on stage in Roanoke, VA, this October 17-19.
This year’s lineup showcases a mix of high-energy performances, outdoor inspiration, and fresh talent, not to mention a special 15th Anniversary Celebration that nods to the festival’s first year, aptly named the “Outdoor Circus.”
Pro Athletes You’ve Got to See in Action

- Ryan Nyquist, pro BMX rider and X-games legend will take to the ramps of the Gentry Locke BMX Stunt Show with gravity-defying tricks. Stick around after the shows for a chance to meet him! Show Times (Ryan Nyquist will perform Saturday and Sunday only) .
- Ian and Sean Farrar, the US’s top-ranked trials riding brothers, demonstrate mind-bending balance and precision on two wheels. Show Times.
- Davis Hermes, the first world champion freestyle highliner and record holder for the world’s highest highline (2300m). New this year – after each show, Hermes and his team will offer slacklining workshops for those who want to learn the tricks of the trade on (much) lower-to-the-ground slacklines. Show Times.
Live Music on The Haley Toyota Mainstage

- Sol Driven Train starts on the Haley Mainstage, then leads Saturday night’s “Throwback to the Outdoor Circus” celebration with a parade of groove, horns, and GO Fest nostalgia. Don your past GO Fest gear and join in as we celebrate 15 years.
- Larry Keel, the legendary flatpicking guitarist, delivers his trademark bluegrass brilliance with a sound rooted in the mountains.
- Dr. Bacon, the Asheville-based genre-bending funk/rock/folk/soul band, will keep the crowd moving with their infectious energy.
- Florencia & the Feeling, the 2025 “FloydFest On the Rise Winner,” bring their radiant soul-pop fusion to GO Fest.
- Corey Hunley’s Songwriters in the Round, featuring William Seymour and Eric Sloan, will offer an intimate showcase of some of the region’s finest storytelling voices.
- Solacoustix, the soulful R&B group known for their harmonies and groove-driven sets, light up the stage with crowd favorites.
- Dylan Dent, a Roanoke-based hip-hop and soul artist, blends thoughtful lyricism with infectious beats.
Live Talks on the Campfire Stage with Mast General Store

- Gabrielle Cerberville, who is better known to her 1M+ TikTok followers as The Chaotic Forager, brings her unique blend of wild food knowledge, humor, and outdoor education to the stage.
- Vicky Ferguson, who is representing the Monacan Nation, shares traditional stories and music that connect audiences to the region’s deep Indigenous heritage.

Mountainfilm on Tour presented locally by Mast General Store

The festival tour was specially curated for the Anthem GO Outside Festival to show at the Elmwood Amphitheater on Friday, October at 7:00pm (Run time, approx 75 minutes.) The show features films such as:
- Your Last Best: A Memphis Rox Story – (Directed by Glen Janssens) The inspiring story of Memphis Rox, a climbing gym in South Memphis built amidst historic struggles against crime, gang violence and basic economic inequalities.
- Girls Riding High – (Directed by Katrin York) 19-year-old Lucy Hankins leads teen girls on a 25-mile backcountry bike trip in Alaska, highlighting how high-adrenaline sports combat youth addiction and mental health issues.
- The First Woman Ever to Drop at Red Bull Rampage – (Directed by Satchel Cronk) Follow Robin Goomes as she navigates the brutal demands of crafting and testing her line for the invitation-only Red Bull Rampage.
The free, family-friendly festival runs October 17-19, in Roanoke, VA, combining more than 100 outdoor-themed organizations, adventure demos, local food, craft beer, and hands-on experiences for all ages.
