The Wild Way's Geocache Challenge

Who doesn't love a TREASURE HUNT? Geocaching is the ultimate way to combine healthy outdoor activity with the adventure of a treasure hunt.

Geocaching is a hobby where people use GPS and other clues to find hidden containers called "geocaches" that may contain trinkets, clues, or a notebook to sign.

To celebrate GO Fest and encourage people to get outside, The Wild Way has hidden 6 geocaches in Explore Park, as well as 6 geocaches in Downtown Roanoke near the festival activities. Find all 6 in either location, and you are entered in a lottery to win a prize!

And for the ambitious few who manage to find all 12 geocaches hidden in both the Explore Park and Downtown Roanoke, there will be an even bigger treasure!

If you'd like to learn more about The Wild Way or hunt for the Explore Park geocaches in a group, The Wild Way will meet in Explore Park at 12pm on Sunday, October 18th for some group treasure hunting!
