Using river rocks to create paint - not painting on rocks
The Camp Bethel Outdoors booth will offer "River Rock Painting" (using rocks to create paint - not painting on rocks) as an activity for visitors to enjoy. At Camp, one of our camper's favorite activities is creek exploration. Campers love finding out you can turn river rocks into paint with just a little bit of water and some friction and emerge from head to toe adorned with the colors of the creek. We will bring a selection of rocks straight from Camp Bethel and a shallow water bin to produce different colors so that visitors can learn to rock paint!
