Make a seed pot, plant a seed

Join the Roanoke Master Gardeners for a hands-on, eco-friendly activity! Participants will roll recycled newspaper around a tin can to create a small biodegradable pot. After shaping the pot, we’ll add soil and a seed so each person can take home their very own starter plant. These newspaper pots can be planted directly in the ground, where they will naturally decompose, making this a fun and sustainable way to grow something new.
