An InQUEERy of Sports/Recreation Accessibility in Roanoke

Join the president of the Roanoke Diversity Center Board, Peter Volosin, as he leads a panel discussion regarding sports and recreation access for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies here in the Roanoke Valley. Volosin will be joined by local athletes and coaches from Blue Ridge Pride Sports and PLAY Pride, all of whom are working to make recreation options more accessible and welcoming to the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. In addition to discussing these new recreation offerings,  they’ll share their personal stories about the importance of creating safe spaces in your community.
