Asia Bright was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where she began a grassroots effort to bring more black people in her community outdoors, ultimately sparking the Black Girls Hike movement. Bright will share how Black Girls Hike showcases a community of black and brown outdoor enthusiasts through storytelling content and curated hiking and travel experiences from all over the world. Bright will speak about how she built this community and what it means for the greater outdoor community.
