Bike
Bike to GO Fest and Enjoy Free Valet Service provided by Pedal Safe Roanoke. The valet service is conveniently located in Zone 2–upper Elmwood Park, near the corner of Jefferson St. and Day Avenue.

This year, the City of Roanoke is featuring a pop-up bike lane on Jefferson Street, separated from traffic and connecting the Rivers Edge Complex to downtown, making your ride to GO Fest easier and safer than ever. Give it a try!
Bus
Valley Metro offers a convenient and eco-friendly way to get to GO Fest. Regular service is available Monday through Saturday for just $1.75 per ride (children 10 and under ride free). Find a nearby stop and take the bus downtown—just a short walk from the festival!
On Saturday, October 19, you can ride for FREE to GO Fest! You can find a stop near your home to downtown and walk a few blocks to the festival. Take a look at Google Maps and pick the “transit” option for detailed bus info. Note: a block of Jefferson will be closed, so some of the routes will be altered for GO Fest. Talk to your bus driver about the closest stop to the festival!
Skip the parking stress, reduce your carbon footprint, and make transit part of your GO Fest experience.
Sunday Service: From 9 AM to 6 PM, you can use MetroFlex, a microtransit service for rides within the service area. Just call 540-343-1721 24 hours ahead of time to schedule a trip ($1.75 per ride).

Uber/Lyft
When requesting a ride, we recommend using Amphitheatre at Elmwood Park (Williamson Road entrance) as your destination.
Drive to Basecamp:
- Check out road closures before you go (essentially: Franklin Rd and Jefferson Street surrounding Elmwood Park)
- Plug “Amphitheatre at Elmwood Park” into your GPS for the closest accessible drop-off point on Williamson Road at the entrance to the park.

- Street Parking – There are over 400 free spots just on the open streets within a five-minute walk of the festival. There is no time limit for street parking on the weekends. Tip: go a few blocks west to find even more.

Free Shuttle
Take advantage of the free courtesy shuttle running between Base Camp (Elmwood Park) and Adventure Outpost (Explore Park). Details on shuttle hours of operation and where to catch it can be found here.
Drive to Adventure Outpost
Located at milepost 115, Explore Park is a scenic 15-minute drive away. Please note that with the recent Blue Ridge Parkway closure, the only entrance to Explore Park is on Rutrough Road.
