Space Requirements *

You will be given no more space than you indicate here, so please take the time to be exact. Please indicate the width vs. depth. Consider the space needed for ALL of your equipment: truck, tents, refrigerators, grills, generators, signage, tables, etc. Friendly reminder that you must bring a generator and your own water.

How do you power your setup? *

Will your setup be staying overnight, or will your vehicle need to leave at the end of the day to resupply? *

Please note that no vehicles will be permitted in and out of the site during festival hours.

Please describe your resupply process and turnout capacity for a large crowd. *

I.e. Do you have menu items that take longer than 10 minutes to prepare once they've been ordered? How many people can you feed with one supply trip before you need to go to the store? Do you change your menu when items run out? Give us an idea of how you plan for a large crowd so we can help set you up for success.

Roanoke County Indemnification *

By participating as a vendor during the GO Outside Festival, I assume all the risks normally incident to the nature of the activities and agree that the County will not be responsible for any damages or injuries resulting to me or my child(ren). Also, I understand that any injury incurred during load-in, the event itself, and load-out and the resulting medical expense from that injury will be my responsibility. I understand Roanoke County is not an insurer of my safety or the safety of my minor child(ren). I further understand that Section 15.2-1809 of the Code of Virginia sets forth that Roanoke County and its officers, agents, employees and volunteers are not liable for any injury that may result from the negligence of persons operating the Course. By voluntarily taking part in the GO Outside Festival, I, on my own behalf and on behalf of my child(ren), heirs, next of kin, and all representatives, do hereby WAIVE AND RELEASE all demands and claims, whether in law or in equity, that I or my child(ren), heirs, next of kin, and all representatives might otherwise have against Roanoke County, on account of any injuries, disabilities, death, property damage or losses and expenses of any nature whatsoever, resulting from participation in the GO Outside Festival. To the extent that any portion of this Agreement is deemed to be invalid under the law of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the remaining portions of the Agreement shall remain binding on the undersigned participant.

City of Roanoke Indemnification *

The applicant hereby agrees to occupy exhibitor space for the event described in this document and on any additional attachments. Applicant(s) agrees to be responsible for and pay, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Roanoke, its officers, officials, agents, employees, and volunteers against any and all loss, cost, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any claim or legal action of any nature whatsoever that may arise against the City in connection with the event or in connection with any of the rights and privileges granted by the City the Applicant(s) and assign to the City of Roanoke, its nominees and agents, permission to use, publish and republish for purposes of advertising and trade such use as the City may determine, information and reproductions of my likeness (photographic or otherwise) with or without identification of me by name.

Roanoke Outside Indemnification *

I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS ROANOKE OUTSIDE, their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, volunteers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event ("Releasees"), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, or any resulting arbitration costs WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This applies to the above stated entities and individuals while participating and/or working within the events geographical parameters; including pre-event set-up and post-event break-down and any other event-related activities.

Fire Marshal Inspection *

Explore Park food vendors (who cook on site) must contact Brian Simmons, Roanoke County Fire Marshal at (540) 777-8721 for a yearly inspection PRIOR to the event. Elmwood Park food vendors must contact Roanoke City Fire Marshal at (540)-853-2795 or fire.marshal@roanokeva.gov for a yearly inspection PRIOR to the event.

Business License / Meals Tax *

Active business licenses are required for businesses established within the Roanoke County or Roanoke City limits. Payment of the local meals tax for sales made at the GO Outside Festival are required for all vendors with local licenses or other. Failure to have up-to-date licenses or to pay taxes may result in ejection from the festival.

Certificate of Insurance *

I acknowledge that I must provide a Certificate of Insurance. If my setup is a Food Truck, Automobile Liability must be included on the COI. If my setup is a Food Trailer, I must provide the Insurance Declarations Page for the vehicle that tows the trailer.

Active Health Department Permit *

I acknowledge that food vendors must submit proof of a Health Department permit or a temporary event permit application within 30 days of acceptance and at least 30 days prior to the event, or risk being denied acceptance.

Active Business License *

If you do not have an active business license, email vendors@roanokegofest.com and we will connect you with our Commissioner of Revenue.
